3 Shiny Objects

  • In this artwork, my goal is to paint 3 shiny objects by using oil. The top is an airplane toll, and the bottom is an screwdriver.
  • I accomplished the work by draw the outline first, and then paint the base color of the object. Finally, I add color to express the values.
  • My goal is about showing shiny characteristics with different color, especially darker ones.
  • The most difficult part is showing objects without outline.
  • I meet the challenge by revising several times and adding darker color the regions to express the value.
  • The shiny characteristics of by objects are extremely good.
  • In next painting, I want to improve the shape and express value more distinctively and brightly.
  • Heather's painting looks very good because it shows three-dimensional shape.
  • If I can, I will redo the paper clip in the middle.
  • I feel best about the value I expressed.
